Customer Experience Excellence

Last Friday, Douglas Jackson Consultants attended the Customer Experience Awards, for a day of judging, dinner and award presentations.  The venue for the event was The Grand Connaught Rooms, which offered an excellent venue to celebrate customer experience excellence.

The event was a real showcase for Customer Experience and it was so nice to see such a mix of organisations and industries present, which included;  Karaoke, Investments, Pizza, Phones, Themed Attractions, Golf, Groceries, Washing Machines, Banking, Loans, Logistics, Recruitment, Outsourcing, Assessment Tools, Food Services, Manufacturing Consultancy, Technology, Insurance, Utilities, Facilities Management, Legal Services, Not for Profits, Housing, Accountancy, Travel and Transport. It was great to see so many people showing their real commitment across markets to improving Customer Experience.

We and many of the other judges we spoke with on Friday stated that there were so many great ideas, enthusiastic people and fantastic results being achieved by so many of you, that once again, it was a truly inspiring occasion and was summed up extremely well by a tweet from Marcio, which emphasises just how important each person is in making a great and lasting customer experience:

Well done to all the entries and finalists!

So to the awards: There seemed be more award categories than ever at this year awards, which created a high level of anticipation, full to the brim conference room and excited noise and cheer (from a large proportion of the tables),  for the awards nominations and presentations, which all added to a great atmosphere.  The event was hosted by Marianne Page who did a great job and the awards were presented throughout what was an excellent lunch menu.

All i can say is wow for sure that person deserve that award, customer service and being professional is really a hard thing to do most of the people use to stress on that matter,in Finland country contact center are one of the professional in customer experience matter and most of them are really great on giving a info however i never heard yet some award for them.

    • Hello Kai, It sounds like Finland might need it’s own contact centre award programmes so that you and some of your colleagues can enter. There is a European Call Centre Awards Programme, maybe your team can look at that, or even create your own internal team recognition ideas to value those who deliver great service.

  2. Thanks for your great information, the contents are quiet interesting.I will be waiting for your next post.
